In their own words
"We started with the Space Analysis for our master bedroom and ended up doing the Detailed Design for the whole apartment. The mood board they produced in the first service was so well-considered that we just knew we wanted to keep working with them. The 3D renders were genuinely useful — I stopped second-guessing the tile choice because I could see exactly how it would look."
"Honest people. They told me early on that my budget wouldn't stretch to everything on my wishlist, and helped me prioritise. That kind of straightforwardness is refreshing. The renovation oversight service was worth every ringgit — Siew Lin handled the contractor communication so I didn't have to take calls from the site every other day."
"We'd been putting off the living room redesign for three years because we couldn't agree on a direction. The Space Analysis brief gave us a clear, well-reasoned recommendation that we both felt good about. It wasn't a pushy pitch for a bigger project — they genuinely just answered what we asked. We've since come back for the full design package."
"The design book was something I didn't realise I'd care about until I had it. It documents every decision with the reasoning behind it — which materials were chosen and why, which layout alternatives were considered. Eighteen months later, I still refer to it when I'm thinking about small changes. Very thoughtful touch."
"Renovation is an experience I was dreading. Two friends had bad experiences with contractors running late and over budget. Kael's oversight made a genuine difference — they caught a tiling issue on a site visit before it was grouted over, which would have been a much bigger problem. The weekly updates meant I could continue working without constantly chasing information."
"What stood out was how well they understood the way we actually live. They asked questions I hadn't thought to consider — how we eat, whether we fold laundry in the bedroom, where we keep things we use daily. The design they produced fits our routines in a way that feels almost obvious in hindsight. Very warm, patient process."

Project Stories
Challenge
Open-plan apartment, KLCC area
A 1,200 sq ft open-plan unit where the dining, living, and study areas all shared the same visual field. The client wanted distinct zones without physical barriers, and struggled with the lack of natural light on one side of the apartment.
Solution
A zoning strategy using material changes, ceiling-height light pendants, and a bespoke storage unit that created a visual boundary between the study and living areas. Reflective materials on the north wall redistributed light across the space. Furniture scale was recalibrated to avoid the heavy feeling common in open plans.
Results
- Three functional zones within an uninterrupted floor plan
- Noticeably brighter north end without additional fixtures
- Client reported feeling calmer in the space within days of completion
"I didn't think a design change could affect how I feel walking into my own home. It does."

Challenge
Family terrace renovation, Subang Jaya
A 22-year-old terrace house with dated finishes, a cramped kitchen-dining layout, and a growing family who needed the space to work harder. Previous contractors had quoted the renovation job, and the client had already had one negative experience with an unsupervised project two years prior.
Solution
Full Detailed Design followed by Renovation Oversight. The design combined a kitchen extension into the utility courtyard, a reconfigured dining area, and new flooring throughout the ground floor. All contractor briefings and material orders were managed directly, with a pre-approved escalation process for site issues.
Results
- Project completed on schedule at week 14
- Kitchen footprint increased by 40% with no structural compromise
- Client reported zero instances of needing to intervene directly with contractors
"After my last renovation, I swore I'd never do it again. This was completely different — I barely felt the disruption."

Challenge
Home office setup, TTDI
A spare bedroom being converted into a permanent home office for a creative professional. The room felt disconnected from the rest of the apartment and was poorly suited to focused work — wrong light position, limited storage, no acoustic consideration.
Solution
A Space Analysis brief that identified the core issues — east-facing window creating afternoon glare on the desk, storage needs underestimated by the client, and wall colour contributing to the disconnected feeling. The brief included a specific furniture arrangement, acoustic panel placement options, and lighting recommendations within the client's budget.
Results
- Client implemented recommendations within a MYR 4,000 self-managed budget
- Glare issue resolved through desk repositioning, no fixture changes needed
- Room now used for 6+ focused work hours daily without fatigue complaints
"MYR 480 to fix a problem I'd lived with for 18 months. The brief paid for itself immediately."
— Client, TTDI · Space Analysis, 8 working days
